DAN BURNS
Director of Interior Design
Dan graduated from Philadelphia College of Textile and Sciences with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design as well as graduated in 2001 from Pratt Institute in New York with a Bachelor of Architecture.
As a High-End Residential Interior Designer, he has collaborated with some of the best architects in Manhattan to create extra-ordinary residential projects. Dan has completed a 13,000 sq ft residence in New York and several homes in Southampton, East Hampton, and Amagansett. His collaborations have been with Allied Works, Baird Architects, Rogers Marvel Architects, Hottenroth + Joseph Architects, Anna Marie Torres Architects of New York and Stelle Architects of Bridgehampton.
Dan served as a Brand Consultant to several global retail companies throughout the past 9 years. In total he has been responsible for the design, management and successful openings of over 40 retail stores, shop in shops, and several designer showrooms in New York, London and Milan. These companies include Theory, Helmut Lang, Rebecca Taylor, Brooks Brothers and Troy.
Troy of Soho, was the first Mid-Century Modern Showroom to open in Manhattan in 1996. In 2002, he was hired as Director of Sales and Interiors, to reposition the brand as a leader in the Design Industry. During his time there, he worked with several prominent international design companies including Porro, Living Divani, E15, MDF and Fritz Hansen.
At JarlathDan, he was Founder and Creative Director for the Retail Store in Amagansett and Design Studio in New York. The store has been featured in Elle Décor, Hamptons Magazine and Hamptons Cottage and Gardens.
Dan Burns is Director of Interior Design at Abramson Teiger Architects. He brings great vision and passion of design to complete and integrate with the Architecture.
