Mr. Teiger continues to pursue his understanding of people and what has to occur to bring out the best in everyone.
Mr. Teiger graduated with honors from Cornell University in 1982 where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and obtained a Masters in Spiritual Psychology from University of Santa Monica in 2009. I have always believed “architecture should raise your soul to a higher spiritual level.” I’ve been fortunate to travel the world searching how to accomplish this. After spending time at monasteries in Nepal and India as well as visiting countless places of worship throughout Europe. I have come to understand that the environment where this is possible is “one that is large enough for silence to echo, yet small enough for intimacy to remain”.
Mr. Teiger is currently Vice-Chair of the American Institute of Architects Los Angeles Awards Committee. He has served as an executive committee member of the UJF Real Estate and Construction Cabinet. He has served on the Santa Monica College Architectural CAD Technology Advisory Board and as lecture chair for the AIA Young Architects Forum.
