WILLIAM DENKINGER, LEED AP
Associate
William came to Los Angeles in 2003 from Omaha, Nebraska to attend the University of Southern California where he received a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2008. While at the University of Southern California, along with a group of 5 other architecture students, was awarded a grant to research housing strategies in the mountains of Chiapas, Mexico. Using the information and graphics created from this venture he would go on to aid in the formation of a 500 level course on global housing strategies that utilize modern design solutions. His studio work was featured in many student design shows as well as selected for university publications.
While attending school, William worked at a wide variety of architecture design firms in southern California focusing on different typologies of architecture. As a result he has experience in a wide variety of projects including residential, commercial, retail, institutional, infrastructure, and transportation development. While at Arquitectonica, he participated in the design of the theme, signage, and front curtain wall of the Cosmopolitan Casino in Las Vegas, set to open in 2010, located on the strip between City Center/ Aria and the Bellagio.
William is a LEED Accredited Professional and is currently completing his NCARB hours and ARE exams for licensure as a registered architect in California. He joined the ATA team in December of 2009 and has participated on the designs of New Los Angeles Charter School and Temple Israel.
